PRESSING OF OLIVES IS DONE IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL WAY AT THE VILLA DI MAIANO. HERE ARE THE DIFFERENT PHASES OF OLIVES’ PRESSING:
In the beginning the olives are being conveyed to a machine that will divide the olives from the leaves. Then olives will be washed and crushed to separate the pulp from the actual olive oil. The final color is green/yellowish with a very savory and distinctive taste: just right for an olive oil taste that can be done now or in any other time of the year.
