Although we are experiencing a year of emergency during which the pandemic has forced many restaurants to remain closed for many months, the Michelin Guide has honored with stars and other recognition awards the many chefs and restaurants committed to spreading the value of Italian hospitality and taste throughout the world.
Here are the star restaurants that the 2021 Michelin Guide has included in Florence:
Three stars
Enoteca Pinchiorri is also this year the best restaurant in Florence and among the 11 Italian restaurants to have obtained the 3-star award. No new star.
Two stars
Santa Elisabetta, inside the Hotel Brunelleschi, obtained two stars for the first time, recognition that a Florentine restaurant had been missing for several years.
One star
The restaurants with already one star in 2020, keep it also in 2021 and they are:
Piatto Michelin (Michelin Dish)
This is not a star, but a recognition for quality cuisine:
- L’Insolita Trattoria Tre Soldi
- Osteria Antica Mescita San Niccolò
- Cibléo
- Konnubio
Bib Gourmand
This recognition was obtained by the following restaurants offering the best quality/price:
- Zeb
- Da Burde
Green Star
New recognition for restaurants that are attentive to the values of sustainability. Among the twelve winners there is one in the Mugello region, north of Florence.
